Let Your Colour Out 2026
1. Eligibility
- This competition is open to children under the age of 18 ("participants"), with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
- By entering, the parent or legal guardian confirms that they have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions on behalf of the participant.
2. How to Enter
- Participants must submit an original colouring-in entry as per the campaign instructions.
- Entries must not contain any unlawful, harmful, or inappropriate content.
3. Parental Consent
- By allowing a child to enter, the parent/legal guardian:
- Confirms they are authorised to provide consent on behalf of the participant.
- Agrees to these Terms & Conditions in full.
4. Use of Entries and Personal Information
By entering the competition, you grant permission to BIC Stationery South Africa (including their partners and affiliates) to:
- Use and publish the participant's:
- Submitted artwork
- First name and age
- Image, voice, or likeness (if applicable)
- Any related quotes or campaign content
- This may be used in:
- Advertising and promotional materials
- Social media, websites, and digital platforms
- Print media, in-store displays, and educational materials
- Internal communications and marketing campaigns
- This usage may take place across any media platform, now or in the future.
- No compensation will be payable for such use.
5. Intellectual Property
- All submitted artwork must be original and created by the participant.
- By entering, you agree that:
- All intellectual property rights in the submitted work are assigned to BIC.
- Where assignment is not legally possible, a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence is granted to use the work for any lawful purpose.
- To the extent allowed by law, any moral rights in the work are waived.
6. Warranties
The parent/legal guardian confirms that:
- The entry is original and does not infringe on any third-party rights.
- The participant's involvement does not breach any laws or regulations.
7. Indemnity
- You agree to indemnify BIC against any claims arising from:
- A breach of these Terms & Conditions
- Any third-party claims related to the submitted content
8. Protection of Personal Information (POPIA)
- Personal information will be collected and processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
- Information will only be used for:
- Competition administration
- Marketing and campaign-related communication
- Personal data will not be shared beyond what is necessary for these purposes.
9. Duration of Rights
- The rights granted in these Terms & Conditions are:
- Perpetual (no time limit)
- Irrevocable
- Do not require further consent or notification
10. General
- These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
- BIC reserves the right to amend the competition or these Terms & Conditions at any time, where necessary.
- BIC's decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
